Junior Creative
This is a design and copy role. You’ll help develop the idea, write the thing and lay it out.
We need a junior creative to help turn briefs into actual work (social posts, ads, web pages, emails, case studies, etc). You might be better at writing or design right now. That’s fine. But you need to like the idea of developing your skills in both.
What you’ll do
You’ll be making things from week one.

Take a brief, work out the idea, then make the thing.
- 02
Write headlines, captions, scripts, web pages and ads in clear, natural language.
- 03
Lay out social posts, ads and pages. That means typography, hierarchy, image choices and knowing when there’s too much stuff on the page.

Learn how each client should look and sound, then stay inside that world.
- 05
Spend some time understanding the client, their customers and their competitors before you start making things.
- 06
Work with the rest of us (strategy, media, SEO, analytics, creative) and be open to the idea changing as the team works through it.

Make versions, take feedback and use the numbers when they can tell us something useful.

Use AI where it helps. You’ll still need to make the judgement calls.
A bit about you
You’ve got some work to show us.
- You notice things. A weak headline, the wrong crop, type that’s nearly right, a layout with one thing too many.
- You’ve had a go at both writing and design. We don’t expect you to be equally good at both.
- You’ve got work to show us. Uni, freelance, a current job, something you made because you felt like it - all fine.
- You know your way around Figma, Adobe or Canva. Use whichever one helps you make good work.
- You’re interested in why people notice one thing and scroll straight past another.
- You can show unfinished work, ask sensible questions and make good use of feedback.
- Graduated last year? Self-taught? A couple of years into your first job? Any of those could work.
