Who we are
This website is operated by Luster Agency Pty Ltd (ABN 95 669 929 873), referred to in this policy as Luster, we, us or our.
Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@luster.au.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, company and message.
When you use the website, our hosting and analytics services may collect technical and usage information. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, timestamps and cookie or similar identifiers.
To protect the enquiry form from abuse, we create a one-way security value from the request hostname and IP address. We do not store the raw IP address in that rate-limit record.
How we use information
We use enquiry information only to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- prepare a proposal where you ask us to;
- manage the prospective-client relationship in our business systems; and
- meet legal, security and business record obligations.
We use technical and usage information to operate, secure, measure and improve the website. We also use it to measure how our advertising performs and to show Luster advertising to people who have visited the website, through the advertising services listed below. We do not add enquiry details to a marketing list or use them for promotional email unless you separately opt in.
Who we share information with
We disclose information only where needed for the purposes above, including to:
- Temper, our prospective-client and enquiry management system;
- Resend, which delivers enquiry notifications by email;
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website and its data;
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which help us measure website use;
- Google Ads, which measures the advertising that brings people to the website and supports remarketing;
- LinkedIn, through the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which measures our LinkedIn advertising and supports remarketing;
- Meta, through the Meta Pixel, which measures our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and supports remarketing; and
- professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law.
These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices. You can read the privacy information published by Cloudflare, Google, LinkedIn, Meta and Resend.
We do not sell personal information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising choices
On the production Luster website, Google Tag Manager loads the measurement and advertising tags configured by Luster. These currently include Google Analytics, Google Ads, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel. They may use cookies or similar technologies to recognise a browser, understand how the website is used, measure how our advertising performs and show Luster advertising to you on other services.
You can limit cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out with each provider directly:
- the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on;
- your Google My Ad Center settings for Google advertising;
- your LinkedIn advertising settings; and
- your Meta ad preferences.
You can also manage interest-based advertising from participating businesses at Your Online Choices Australia. Blocking cookies, analytics or advertising tags should not stop you from reading the website or sending an enquiry.
Storage, security and overseas processing
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. Their locations and processing arrangements may change over time. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate privacy and security protections.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond, prepare requested proposals, manage the prospective-client relationship and meet legal or business record obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where required.
Security rate-limit records are removed through normal system maintenance and may remain when there is no later form traffic.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing hello@luster.au. Please include enough detail for us to understand and respond to your request.
We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published here with its updated date.
